Very French Gangsters

At the start of the story in 2011, two professionals from the children’s fashion world became friends and shared the same realisation: “We can’t find stylish, high-end glasses for our kids.”

Motivated by this gap in the market, they founded VERY FRENCH GANGSTERS with a clear mission — to reimagine children’s eyewear not as a medical necessity, but as a bold fashion statement that reflects each child’s unique personality.

Their first collection debuted to opticians in 2012. With daring shapes and vibrant colours, VERY FRENCH GANGSTERS quickly established a distinctive identity, defined by its playful, rebellious, and cheekily offbeat spirit.

To ensure the highest quality, production was entrusted to two family-run manufacturers based in Oyonnax, nestled in the French Jura Mountains.
